The design of Haus Da Lat is inspired by the pine trees and cones of Da Lat.

The pine forest is a symbol of Da Lat, closely tied to the city's history and development. Since being discovered by Dr. Alexandre Yersin in 1893, Da Lat has been chosen as a resort destination due to its mild climate and the natural beauty of its pine forests. Today, it is also known as the "City of a Thousand Pines."

Haus Da Lat is the first ESG-certified project in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The project takes inspiration from the pine tree and will become a living museum, preserving around 300 rare, centuries-old pine species from Da Lat. It also serves as a solution to a long-standing challenge faced by Da Lat's local authorities: preserving the pine species from the negative impacts of "concreting."
